Before application of AERO-THERM

The ceiling on the first floor was very cold resulting in damp metal beams and mould appearing. This was due to poorly executed thermal insulation of the ceiling which did not allow the room temperature to stabilize even when the heating system was turned on full power.

The solution

To cover the ceiling with AERO-THERM and on 30 cm from the top of walls to prevent thermal bridges.

Working procedure

Removal of old paint and plaster. Elimination of mould using ANSILVER Profi. Application of an acrylic primer. Application of AERO-THERM on all cold surfaces, subsequently covered with a good quality acrylic paint.

After application of AERO-THERM

Elimination of cold coming through the walls and ceiling, elimination of causes of mould, elimination of thermal loss, increase of thermal comfort, savings on heating. Heating indoor areas was achieved faster and the desired temperature was maintained at a much lower cost.
