Before application of AERO-THERM
A reconstructed 20th century farmhouse made from thick mixed masonry, with cold coming through from the exterior walls causing much discomfort.
The Objective
To eliminate cold coming through the exterior walls and to reflect heat from the room back to the room thus achieving thermal comfort and savings on energy costs.
After application of AERO-THERM
The farmhouse owner claimed to have felt cold indoors even when wearing warm clothing. This situation ended and the interior space became too warm for comfort so the heating system was changed to a lower setting.
